# Talk:Rank of an abelian group

## Untitled

When the article says:

A^n is isomorphic to B^n

should this be

${\displaystyle A^{n}}$ is isomorphic to ${\displaystyle B^{n}}$,

or is this a special notation I don't know about?

Missed this, sorry... fixed. Dysprosia 09:02, 9 Aug 2003 (UTC)

something about p-ranks? (rank ${\displaystyle r(A)}$ of an abelian group ${\displaystyle A}$ is the non-torsion rank ${\displaystyle r_{0}(A)}$ plus sum of p-ranks ${\displaystyle r_{p}(A)}$ for every prime p).

How about explicit examples of abelian groups of rank greater than 1? Kerry (talk) 22:54, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
